We can't thank our supporters enough. We can't wait to see what the 2018 season brings and we hope to see you down there enjoying Wildcat park! Memberships make great stocking stuffers. The park has so much to offer.
The Bridle trail for one. A trail where Elizabeth Olmsted once walked her horses from her barn at Olmsted to Wildcat park where horse shows were once held. The creek that runs through the heart of Wildcat. Where you can fish, cool off or just sit on the bench and enjoy the sound of the babbling creek. The beautiful Red Bridge that is a great location for pictures. Recreation such as basketball, tennis, volleyball, baseball, full playground and plenty of acreage for a nice walk. There are also plenty of stone tables and picnic tables around the park where you can come on down for family picnics. And while you are there don't forget to stop by the beautiful Veterans memorial and take a moment to think about all those who we are thankful for that has served and protected this great country. Memberships are $250 for a lifetime, 1 year family is $20 and 1 year single is $10. And with so much to offer it can be a lasting tradition to meet up at the park. We can't wait to see you in the new year! ~Ashlee With Christmas coming very soon we are thinking about all we have to do. But it is nice to just drive around and look at all the beautiful Christmas lights around town. But there has been something missing. Per request from many people and with help of volunteers, Wildcat members and board and myself we are proud to announce that we are bringing the lights back to the park. In the Winter of 2018 Wildcat Park will be bringing back the lights. But the behind the scenes start now. To bring this great family tradition back we are asking for a little help from the community. We will be holding a light drive at the park on January 6th, 2018 where you can bring your lights down to be donated. Come chat with members of the community next to a warm fire and enjoy some hot chocolate. When you take your lights down this year after Christmas and would like to donate them January 6th come on down. If you are unable to make it feel free to call or text me to arrange a pick up or drop them in one of the barrels we will be setting up which more info on that to come. If you would like to send a donation to help with the funds of the Christmas lights we thank you and you can mail all donations to Wildcat Park P.O. Box 125 Ludlow, PA 16333 We are also looking for an electrician or experience with electric to come down next year and help while we are setting up checking fuse boxes and everything to help make the event run smoothly. VOLUNTEERS you can never have too many. Next year setting up and getting ready we will need many volunteers. We want to thank everyone who has already signed up to help next year to bring the lights back to Ludlow! If you would like to donate lights, volunteer or are an electricion who would like to help please feel free to call or text me (Ashlee) at 814-230-8939 or you can comment below. Thank you again to all who are helping to bring a great tradition back to Ludlow. ~ Ashlee
